Kent Rowald - Regional
Director
Kent is a charter member of the Gulf Coast Region, having bought his 1940 LaSalle in March, 1996, just before the initial organizational meeting of the Gulf Coast Region. He has been active in the club in various official and unofficial capacities ever since.
Although he has been interested in old cars all his life, he did not focus on Cadillacs and LaSalles until seeing the 1940 LaSalle at an estate auction near Houston and buying it "because it was too cheap to pass up." After minor mechnical work, his LaSalle took third at the Cadillac LaSalle Club Grand National in July, 1996, and then began its restoration. Kent then acquired a 1941 Cadillac Series 61 slantback coupe so "his and hers" cars were in the family. Kent "traded in" the Caddy for a 1928 LaSalle Series 303 Rumbleseat Roadster!
Kent is a patent attorney (www.PatentLawyers.com) practicing with Seyfarth Shaw, LLP and spends his spare hours (whatever his work and daughter's sports and social schedule permits) tinkering on his cars and riding bicycles.

Lynn Wegner - Deputy Regional
Director
Lynn has an award winning Cadillac that is driven to most meetings. This incredible car has been described at more than one show as "almost too perfect".
Lynn was recently elected to this office and is enthusiastic about the challenges that the position poses.

R. E. 'Bob' Kraitchar
- Membership Secretary
Bob has a 1939
Cadillac seven passenger touring sedan (limo without divider window) and
a 1947 Cadillac convertible. He joined the Cadillac LaSalle Club in 1996
soon after acquiring his 1947. Later that same year he joined the Gulf
Coast Region club, which he served as secretary for about 4 years.
Restoration of the convertible was begun in 1999 while Bob was attending
the Cadillac LaSalle Club Grand National meet in Santa Clara,
California. It was completed in 2000, and since then the car has been a
top competitor in car shows. Bob is active in club functions and serves
as registrar for special club events. He keeps the membership roster up
to date and was the club treasurer from April, 2002 to April, 2006.

Frank Wiseburn
- Treasurer
Frank garnered the possibly dubious distinction of being one of the few officers who were not volunteered, but stepped off into all this work of his own volition! Like most members of the club, Frank is an avid fans of all antique cars, but especially Cadillacs and Lasalles.

Secretary
This position is currently open, but the board anticipates filling the position in the near future.
If you wish to be the Secretary for the Club, please contact a board member to express your willingness to fill this position.

Don Ahrens - Director at
Large
Don has been a lifelong admirer of antique vehicles and muscle cars.
Don’s father’s family was very active in the American Motorcycle
Association and an uncle had an Indian and Henderson Dealership in Long
Island, New York. Don’s first Cadillac was a 1970 Coupe De Ville with
a blown motor that his brother Tom obtained from a trade for a flagpole.
In two nights and after swapping three engines, the car was on the road
and transported Don to his new residence in Maryland in 1982. Since that
time there has been a search and longing to have a 1970 De Ville
Convertible. In April of 1997, the search ended in Camp Hill, PA and Don
purchased ‘The Beast." Don is currently driving ‘The
Beast" as she is being put back to her original beauty.
Don is a native of North Bellmore, L.I., N.Y. having left that area
in 1982 to pursue a career with the Thoroughbred Racing Protective
Bureau, an investigative agency for thoroughbred racing. Through his
career, Don has traveled throughout the country, settling in Tomball,
Texas in 2001. Since arriving in the Houston area, Don became a member
of the Gulf Coast Region.

W.Y. Lamb - Immediate Past Regional Director
Will's interest in
the hobby started in the early '60's in his native south LoUiSiAna. He
sometimes boasts that his first car was a BMW! Not to mind, however, it
indeed was a BMW, albeit an Isetta 350 …. a mid fifty's cross between a
rickshaw and an enclosed motor-scooter. The front door swung open and you
literally stepped into the car! It was powered by a (1) cylinder BMW
motorcycle engine, hence the association with BMW.
Will's Father in his
Isetta 350
Will later renewed his interest in old cars, and
Cadillac's in particular, after a 30-year career in the oilfield service
industry. Having purchased his first Cadillac in 1978, he continues to
favor this nameplate and has been a more serious collector regarding the
late 50's to early 60's Eldorado body styles.
Will is a principal in a land development company based in
his hometown of Lafayette, LA. and also holds a Texas Independent Motor
Vehicle Dealer License. Will devotes his spare time to buying &
selling classic cars.

Duane Medley - National
Director
While not a board member per se, Duane is a longtime
member of the Cadillac LaSalle Club, and he is a charter member of the
Gulf Coast Region. He serves as the Board's appointed representative to the National Board in the event that no board member can attend any given National Board meeting. He has tremendous knowledge of automobile repair and
maintenance, having owned auto repair businesses in Pasadena for a number
of years. Since retiring from auto repair and his other business
interests, Duane has devoted his time to automobile restoration, primarily
Cadillacs. He has restored a number of 1958 Cadillac Eldorados, which is
his specialty. Duane is a noted authority on the 1958 Cadillacs. He served
on the Cadillac LaSalle Club committee which produced the 1958 Cadillac
Authenticity Manual. This book is the foremost authority on 1958 Cadillac
restoration. His Eldorado Bairritz has won Best of Show, Best in Class,
and People’s Choice awards in national competition as well as at car
events in the Houston and Dallas areas. He frequently drives this car to
club functions. Wherever he drives it, it always draws a crowd.
